International Team Feedback (Steve)

Here is some feedback from Steve’s recent trip to South Africa for NCMI’s International Team annual gathering — It is exciting that we can share in what God is doing from all around the world!

The NCMI international team gather annually for prayer, feedback, strategy, teaching and fellowship. This year we got together in Port Elizabeth, South Africa at the beginning of October. These are always incredibly rich times of friendship, worship and being so stirred and enlarged as we hear the incredible God-stories from across the nations…the dead being raised (literally), churches planted in regions of great persecution toward Christians, favor with governments in Africa, God’s miraculous provision of health and protection (people delivered from life-threatening situations) as doors open into new regions. God spoke powerfully to the team during times of prayer and worship and a common theme to many of the prophetic words is the promise of a great harvest – something that other church groups are sensing and certainly something God has been saying to us at CITC (read Isa 62). I had the opportunity to share briefly about the work here in Chicago and there is great interest since we are the first NCMI relating church that has successfully planted in the heart of a 1st-world urban city. There is a possibility we may get to host the team meeting in 2013 which would be such a privilege…140 couples from around the world visiting Chicago!!!
